The fabulous places I’ve been, wonderful things that’ve happened, great people I’ve met ought to make a story.

I’m not the type of person who likes to look backwards. I’ve always felt compelled to move forward and I’ve never been one to dwell in the past. All the people I’ve met, all the places I’ve been, and all the things that I’ve done have simply been part of who I am.

I find this in all these places I’ve been travelling – from India to China, to Japan and Europe and to Brazil – there is a frustration with the terms of public discourse, with a kind of absence of discussion of questions of justice and ethics and of values.

You know, I love traveling and I love being exposed to different cultures, but really it’s the people that I’ve met along the way, not the places I’ve been, that have opened my eyes.

My second passion besides fighting is traveling. So, for me to be able to go somewhere like the places I’ve been is just awesome.

In fact, every place I’ve been to in Africa has a nice part, but you see the downside. Calcutta , parts of Central and South America , I’ve seen a lot of dead bodies and a lot of sad poverty and just obliteration.

Once a year go someplace you’ve never been.

What is a career, actually? Nobody can destroy my career. Only I can destroy my career, if I am a bad conductor. I’ve gone to lesser known orchestras in Scotland and Sweden, Detroit, but I have enjoyed the places I’ve been, and had success. I like the close community relations, and to solve problems.

I’m interested to go other places, I’ve been the boy in the bubble since we’ve been shooting, I need to go travel a little bit, see where the action is, other than going to see family, of course.

There wasn’t much around. After the shows, we would go to an Italian restaurant that a friend of ours owned and so I didn’t get a chance to see much. Actually, that holds true of most places I’ve been.

It’s probably one of the worst places I’ve been.

My goal now is to remember every place I’ve been, only do things I love, and not say yes when I don’t mean it.

I like most of the places I’ve been to, but I’ve never really wanted to go to Japan, simply because I don’t really like eating fish, and I know that’s very popular out there in Africa, but the whole thing just doesn’t appeal to me.

Most of the places I’ve been, I’ve been a main piece of the puzzle.

My approach to the game has been the same at all the places I’ve been. Vanilla. The sure way. That means, first of all, to win physically. If you got eleven on a field, and they beat the other eleven physically, they’ll win. They will start forcing mistakes. They’ll win in the fourth quarter.

Books are like blankets, the mere sight of them around the house provides warmth and comfort. They are like mirrors, too, reflecting places I’ve been, phases I’ve been through, people I’ve loved or thought I did.
